Session 1: Legal 101 for your Business

Session Overview: During this talk, Chantel will discuss the main legal documents you need in your business to comply with the law and reduce your legal risk.

Learn how to:

  • Implement a Privacy Policy – how you collect and manage personal information and what needs to be included to comply with the law
  • Implement a Website Terms of Use – which sets the rules for website visitors
  • Implement a Refund Policy – including the need for Terms of Sale, and what should be covered
  • Give Informed Consent – when to obtain it and what needs to be included
  • Implement Agreements for working with others – this might include contractors, employees, affiliates and more

About Chantel Ryan

Chantel is a Director of ATMS, and an Australian lawyer with over 15 years’ experience. She is also a qualified Naturopath and Health Coach.
When she graduated from Naturopathy in 2018 and started her own clinic, she spoke to lots of health practitioners who had no idea what legal documents they should have in place.
Realising she was in a unique position to help, she created Legally Healthy – which provides affordable legal templates, free resources and custom legal services, specifically for health practitioners.

About Geraldine Headley

Geraldine is a mentor, coach, naturopath, hypnotherapist, herbalist, nutritionist and podcast host based in Adelaide. She spent 30 years nursing in major hospitals, as well as 3rd-world communities around the globe, specialising in neonatal intensive care and paediatrics.

For the past decade Geraldine has dedicated her focus to complementary medicine, not just as a clinical practitioner, but as an educator and mentor.
