Introducing the annual ATMS Natural Medicine Awards

Celebrating excellence in the field of natural medicine, the prestigious ATMS Natural Medicine Awards recognise the exceptional contributions of accredited practitioners in the diverse realm of natural medicine. 

Our industry encompasses various disciplines, including Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Nutrition, Herbalism, Kinesiology, Homeopathy, Reflexology, and Remedial Massage, all dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of their clients.

Each year, usually in November, the ATMS Natural Medicine Awards acknowledge outstanding natural medicine practitioners, clinics, and emerging student talents that play a vital role in fostering the growth and success of the industry.

The Practitioner of the Year award is one of the most prestigious honours bestowed at the annual ATMS Natural Medicine Awards. This accolade celebrates an accredited practitioner who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, expertise, and innovation in their respective field of natural medicine.

Nominees for this award are recognised for their significant impact on the Australian natural medicine profession, their unwavering commitment to excellence, their inspirational leadership within the industry, and their contributions to the local community through volunteerism and support. The winner of the Practitioner of the Year award is announced during the ATMS Natural Medicine Awards ceremony, where they are honoured for their outstanding achievements and showcased as a role model for their peers.

The Clinic of the Year award at the ATMS Natural Medicine Awards is a distinguished recognition of excellence within the natural medicine community. This award celebrates clinics that have consistently delivered exceptional care, innovation, and service to their clients. Nominees for Clinic of the Year are acknowledged for their significant contributions to the Australian natural medicine profession, their commitment to providing outstanding holistic healthcare, and their embodiment of the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. Clinics considered for this accolade serve as beacons of inspiration, setting a benchmark for excellence in patient care and community engagement.

The Student Practitioner of the Year award at the ATMS Natural Medicine Awards highlights the promising talent emerging within the field of natural medicine. This award recognises students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, passion, and skill in their studies and practice. Nominees for Student Practitioner of the Year exhibit a profound commitment to learning, excellence, and the principles of natural medicine. They stand out for their significant academic achievements, and their embodiment of the values and ethics of the industry. These students serve as inspiring role models, showcasing the potential of the next generation of practitioners.

 

The Awards asks for the industry and public to nominate practitioners, clinics or students that have: 

  • Made a significant impact on the Australian natural medicine profession
  • Demonstrated excellence in their respective field
  • Served as an inspirational role model for fellow practitioners, clinics, or students
  • Volunteered their time or resources to support their local community

Important Dates:

  • Entries/Nominations Open: July
  • Entries/Nominations Close: September
  • Judging: October
  • Finalists Notified and Announced: October
  • Awards Night/Winners Revealed: November

All finalists (four per category) will be invited to the Awards Night for the ATMS Natural Medicine Awards ceremony. The category winners will be announced and presented with their awards during this event. Winners will also be featured in an issue of WellBeing Magazine and profiled on the ATMS website, e-news, and social media platforms.*

*Terms and Conditions: An entrant/nominee may submit/be nominated multiple times but is considered only once. The number of entries an entrant submits will not influence the judging process; entries will be evaluated by a panel of industry experts based on their quality and alignment with the judging criteria. Entrants must be 18 years or older and hold accreditation/membership with a professional industry association in Australia. Membership in the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS) is not mandatory. Entrants must be Australian residents to be eligible.
