Vocation education, as regulated under Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), provides a high standard of education. This online form outlines the various requirements for training institutions to meet, so that they are recognised as approved ATMS training providers, along with additional information for health fund recognition. Each training institution must provide the following information and evidence (where appropriate) to support their application for approved ATMS training provider status and health fund recognition. A site visit may be requested by the association as part of the application process.

Designated student clinic on campus that simulates a real clinical environment with clientele from the public?*
A minimum of 200 supervised clinical hours (HLT52021) conducted on campus and supervised by a trainer with appropriate qualifications*
The following components are completed on campus face to face: Surface anatomy, Palpation, Clinical examination, Assessment of conditions, Treatment plans, Tactile therapies, Massage/Myotherapy techniques and other associated therapeutics and techniques*
Other than those in the point above, 50% of the remaining course units must also be conducted on campus face to face.*
Qualifications are completed full time over 12 months or part time over 18 months*
