A huge congratulations to the winners, runners-up and nominees of the ATMS + Nature & Health Awards 2018.
There was an incredible response to our fourth annual Industry Awards and ATMS would like to thank everyone who nominated. There were an overwhelming number of high calibre entries and we applaud the devotion and commitment of entrants to natural medicine in Australia.
ATMS once again congratulates the winners and highly commended runners-up for Practitioner of the Year, Clinic of the Year, and Student of the Year! All finalists have demonstrated excellence in their field and have made significant contributions to the Australian wellness community, natural medicine profession, and healthcare industry.

Meet your 2018 Practitioner of the Year
Fiona Gordon
Alice Springs Massage & Yoga, NT
Fiona Gordon, of Alice Springs Massage and Yoga Therapy, has been working in natural therapies since she qualified in a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 1994 at NatureCare College, Sydney. She has worked with back injuries, sports injuries, and what has now become her speciality: lymphatic drainage, oncology massage, and clients with lymphoedema. She has completed her Complex Lymphatic Therapies training with the Lymphoedema Association of Australia. Aware that not many therapists knew how to work with oncology massage, she organised a training program for therapists to complete level 1 oncology massage training. Fiona is also a qualified yoga therapist and Yogalates instructor and runs yoga-after-cancer classes twice a week for cancer clients.

Meet your ATMS 2018 Clinic of the Year
CK Health and Wellbeing, Dudley NSW
CK Health and Wellbeing is a multi-modality clinic specialising in naturopathy and massage. Principal Cody Kennedy began her career as a massage therapist before going on to achieve qualifications in nutrition, naturopathy, homeopathy, evidence-based complementary medicine, and medicine management. The fact that Cody’s husband has several autoimmune diseases has been the inspiration behind CK Health & Wellbeing’s focus on how natural therapies can help counter these diseases. The clinic provides an online program for people suffering from lupus, along with a cookbook of recipes to support those with autoimmune diseases. CK Health & Wellbeing also offer a mentoring service for naturopathic students, and run wellness days featuring naturopathic talks, yoga classes, food demonstrations, and meditation.

Meet your ATMS 2018 Student of the Year
Georgia Hartmann
Georgia is a current final year student in the Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) program at Endeavour College of Natural Health. She is an inspirational role model for other students and believes strongly in the holistic naturopathic principles of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. She actively pursues excellence in her academic studies, naturopathy, nutritional medicine, and in student clinic. She also currently works part-time as a research assistant at a high level multiple-modality naturopathy clinic. She is an asset to the natural medicine profession.
